Samiha Chawla
Co- founder
Samiha graduated with First Class Honours in BSc Psychology and Language Sciences from University College London. Having navigated both the Indian schooling system and a competitive international university environment herself, she understands how differently success is defined across contexts and how overwhelming these transitions can feel. During her own university application journey, she found that much of the consultancy advice available to her lacked individual understanding. Faced with decisions that would shape her future, she chose to take ownership of her process, researching independently and building her applications with intention and reflection. That experience shaped her belief that academic decisions deserve depth, structure, and genuine personalisation.
At Apply Advisory, Samiha works directly with every student, guiding them from early self reflection to final submission with strategic direction and personal commitment. She ensures each application is thoughtful, cohesive, and truly reflective of the individual behind it. Her core belief is simple: strong outcomes come from self awareness and clarity, enabling students and families to move forward with assurance and peace of mind.
Our Story
We grew up in Delhi and experienced firsthand the academic pressures many students face. Later, while studying in London, we became friends, navigating a new education system, unfamiliar choices, and the realities of life overseas. These experiences gave us a direct understanding of how complex and impersonal the university application process can feel.
After graduating, we started Apply Advisory with a simple intention: to offer the kind of guidance we wished we had. Having studied within both the Indian and UK education systems, we understand the gap between ambition and clarity that many students struggle with when making academic decisions.
Too often, students are encouraged to prioritise rankings, trends, or external expectations over genuine fit. Universities and courses may look impressive on paper but fail to align with a student’s interests, strengths, or long-term direction. We believe decisions of this scale deserve more reflection and structure.
Our approach begins with understanding the student, their personality, goals, academic interests, and aspirations. From there, we guide them through the full decision-making and admissions process, helping them think critically about their options and present themselves confidently through well-positioned applications.
